CDR James M. Grimm, SC, USN, completed 20 years of active service and retired on Oct. 1, 2001, after serving at Allied Command, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Yorktown, Va. He received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio and his masters’ degrees from Naval War College and Indiana State University. His previous duty stations include USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70); U.S. Strategic Command, Omaha, Neb.; USS America (CV 66); USS Coral Sea (CV 43); Naval Air Station, Keflavik, Iceland; Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and USS Sumter (LST 1181). | |||||||||
