    experiences:

I was part of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marines.  On board first time for med cruise in 86 and again in April or May of 87 for a short cruise to Honduras.  Mess cranked CPO mess (picky fellers) for a while and made friends with a lot of ships crew.
Would like to find a copy of that cruise book, I won the skeet competition.  Enjoyed the deployments greatly, I believe to be one of the best cohesive units assembled in the 80's, we all worked well together and I am proud to have served with the sailors of that great little ship.  The Norwegian sea was my least favorite part, but I got some cool pics.  More later.
